Why does it seem the church is losing its voice? Maybe people are too polite to tell us. The presenter in the video this week tells it straight:

“You would think at at time like this they would be streaming into the churches to be with the people of God where someone has heard from the almighty and brought it down into common human speech. But they’re not. They are drifting on to other voices…Have we lost our voice in part because we’ve been possessed by another spirit (Mark 9) that is divisive and angry and vitriolic and political and militant and entitled? Has another spirit taken over the soul of the American church, and there’s no one to cast it out?”
